Leading from the Inside Out
Walk the Inner Path to Ground-Breaking Leadership
What is walking the inner path?
Ground-breaking leadership begins with who we consciously choose to be.
When we look inside ourselves with the intention of uncovering our inner being, we begin to consciously take leadership of our own life and become aware of the unfathomable depths of our human capacity.
We become both archaeologist and architect as we gently scrape away layers of personal silt, reaping the rewards of revealing the magic of what lies beneath.
Graig Ddu & Me
“A simple, yet luxuriously peaceful idyll. The cottage is sublime, the setting perfect! What a place to wake up”
Staying at the cottage can teach you more about yourself in 7 days than you may have discovered over a lifetime.
In the Autumn of 1991, I needed somewhere to hide away while I recalibrated life as my marriage fell apart. Through a series of synchronistic events, the cottage found me.
I had been warned that there was no electricity and water came from a mountain spring, but that just made me more curious.

Escape the Everyday
A unique holiday for the soul – tuck yourself away for a tranquil self-catering break at this idyllic cottage
Graig Ddu is hidden halfway up a hill, in the middle of a forest in timeless tranquillity, 12 miles from the market town of Abergavenny
Beautiful Pots
Unique pots, hand-built using the ancient art of coiling, burnished and smoked in sawdust
When I was travelling, I was captivated by the simply made and beautiful vessels I saw the world over, and I kept the image of those pots in my head.
When I moved to Graig Ddu in 1991, I knew I’d found the perfect place to teach myself this ancient, therapeutic style of creating beautiful pots. Over the months, I persevered with clay mixes, firing temperatures, and finding the right sawdust to create the mellow effects on the clay. After a while, my work was exhibited and sold across the UK.

1984 – 1988
Overland Around the World
As I left school, thanks to Jacques Cousteau, I had an unplanned fancy to
become an under-water photographer. However, I met my future husband before leaving school and he had a different plan – which was to travel overland around the world …. somehow.
